I build tools for learning and teach high-school math. Occasional writer. Seven years in classrooms.
I'm a full-stack developer and mathematics teacher. I spend my days in high-school classrooms figuring out what actually helps students understand math — then I go home and build it. The best ideas always come from a real student stuck on a real problem.
Seven years of teaching has taught me that understanding beats memorizing every time. That conviction is what drives every tool I build — including MATHLOGAME, my latest essay on why effort alone isn't enough, and the equation solvers I use in the classroom.
I'm building out MATHLOGAME — adding new game modes and refining the learning feedback loop so students get genuine insight, not just a score. In the classroom, I'm experimenting with short competitive games that make daily practice feel less like work. Outside of school, I'm learning how AI can assist the kind of slow, careful thinking I want students to practice — not replace it.
